Volunteer Opportunities
There are several volunteer opportunities for parents and families of Stinson Elementary. Please see our volunteer descriptions to decide where you might best contribute.
Background Checks
Before anyone can volunteer in school, attend class parties, or be a chaperone on field trips, you must have your background check on file with the school district and with the Stinson office. You may fill out a PISD online Volunteer Application as a new or returning volunteer. At the end of the Volunteer Application, you will be prompted to print a Notary Form. Please return this form, signed and notarized, to the school office (this form can be notorized by the office personnel). Returning volunteers must resubmit the Volunteer Application each school year (beginning after June 1 of the upcoming school year).
Volunteer Hours
It is important to keep track of the hours you volunteer. Whether work done in school, or projects taken home, all of your hours spent on school items is hours to be logged.
