Get Connected— Stinson PTA publishes the weekly ‘Thursday Edition’ , the monthly ‘Star Tracker’, the PTA Directory, the Stinson PTA website and the Stinson Stars Yearbook.

Discover Great Resources — Our PTA provides many enrichment programs for our students, such as: extracurricular arts & science programs, music assemblies, drug awareness week and multicultural programs.

Tap into a Network — Get to know other parents and teachers at PTA functions and PTA sponsored family fun events. Stinson PTA has been named a Parent Involvement School of Excellence by the National PTA.

Support Improvement — Support the PTA as it funds various improvement projects. Our school beautification projects have included wall murals, hallway signs, and outdoor benches to name just a few. We have supplemented the educational programs at the school with donations of library books, literacy materials and school agendas. Some of our other equipment donations have included the school marquee and equipment for the physical education program.

2006-2007 PTA Member Benefits

Once you have joined PTA, you can get detailed information about accessing your Exclusive PTA Member Benefits by visiting the National PTA Members-only website. You will need the user name and password from the back of your current membership card.
National PTA and Barnesandnoble.com have developed a discounted online bookstore for PTA members featuring over one million titles of books, textbooks, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and videos. Members will save 5 percent on all purchases ordered from this site in addition to any normal site discounts of up to 40 percent. New titles and special discounts will be featured periodically.	FedEx Kinko’s offers an exclusive 25 percent discount to PTA members on all of its products and services (some restrictions apply). Members can access the customized FedEx/Kinko’s/PTA website and sign up to receive their individual discount card. PTA leaders can also visit the site to receive a Diamond level discount card, which entitles them to even greater discounts.
S&S Worldwide has been a leader in catalog and online products for education, crafts, recreation, and therapy for more than 90 years. As a National PTA Member Benefits Provider, S&S Worldwide offers PTA members a 10 percent discount on all purchases from their catalogs and with any online purchases.	Alliant Credit Union has been in business for almost 70 years, and currently serves over 170,000 members worldwide. For new Alliant Credit Union members who are also PTA members, Alliant Credit Union will deposit $10 into local PTA members' accounts, which can be used toward their local PTA/PTSA membership dues for one year, and $15 into the accounts of National PTA members.
